Weston, ME is a small town of approximately 245 year-round residents located at the southeastern end of Aroostook County. Weston was founded in March of 1835. Forestry and agriculture were the main occupations in the area up until the late 1900’s. The area’s big draw now is the lakes in the town. Within the boundaries of the town are Faulkner and Brackett Lakes. Deering Lake is mostly in Weston, but its northern tip is in the Town of Orient. Weston has many miles of shore along East Grand Lake, one of the largest lakes in the state. Seasonal cottages and year-round homes dot the shores of the beautiful waters. Recreational opportunities abound year-round with fishing, hunting, hiking, leaf peeping, snowmobiling, ATVing and snowshoeing. Over a thousand acres of conserved woodlands offer multiple ways to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
